The Black Genealogy
This is the family genealogy of the Black Family as it is descended through the male line. It extends back to 1757 and demonstrates how determined our ancestors were to maintain an unbroken tradition as they named the sons of each generation:
John, James, Donald, & David.
These 5 documents were the work of Michael Black, a cousin once removed who I last met in 2011 when we visited Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire. He had an interest in the Black Line and was able to send me several photos and documents. Sadly, he has since passed away leaving me with very few relations in the old country.
